Culpa: work in progress.

Here's the latest oil painting I've been working on. I've titled it "Culpa" which means sin in Latin. It is a painting of a hand dripping blood into the "apple" of temptation. I just started it yesterday and have made some pretty good progress so far. I still need to add a few more things, do a black outline on the hand.. add more dimensions.. and unfortunately, wait for it to dry so I can do a clear, thick varnish on it. It's on a 10x24 wood panel and it's been an interesting process since this is my first time working with wood.. and oil on wood. I can honestly say I am actually happy with the direction that my art is taking at the moment. Yesssss!

After Sex

..."talk" sometime make the list for some of the best conversations in our lives. Lucky for you, a 2007 movie named just that: After Sex, showcases a series of vignettes of such conversations. Here's a clip of my favorite vignette. It made me cry. There. So please watch it and let's share a moment together. Fast-forward to 6:00 to get to the good emo stuff.

Ponoko

Look out, peeps! I just finished my first design and submitted it to Ponoko today to be cut. The designs are made out of acrylic and will be transformed into beautiful jewelry! Being the good friend that I am.. I made a few custom designs just for my wonderful friends. The shipping faq says that it should come in three-weeks! I can't wait! Go here to figure out what the hell I'm even talking about!
