Winter Music Conference is going on in Miami right now. Oh how I wish I could be there so I could 'dance my toenails off.' True story.. it happened at Nation in '99. Both of my big toenails.. OFF! hahahha.. I love strange memories like this. Makes for an interesting story to tell for the rest of ye' life! Since I can't be there.. NPR was awesome enough to compile a list of 10 Songs to Shake the Dance Floor.

L-l-lowrider..

This is a shot of one of my design team's packaging project. It's a paper reproduction of a Lincoln Continental.. complete with pin-stripe detail! Don't be fooled.. it took many 'trials and errors' to get to this point. Not only was this a flat piece of paper at 4pm today.. it took many zots to put this bad boy together! 

30th on 30th

What a neat idea. This is why I love living in North Park. Although this is the first I've heard of it.. 30th on 30th takes place every 30th of the month and participating restaurants on 30th Street offers specials to all the happy people that take part. It's really a great way to bring the North Park community together.. and friends from other neighborhoods, as well! Finally!

So I guess there has been a vote (made by coaches/owners) to change overtime rules for playoff games in the NFL. In a nutshell, no team can score a simple field goal to win the game. If the opposing team scores a field goal right after- then it's back to 'sudden death.' But if the team that wins the coin toss scores an actual touchdown, they take home the game immediately! I think this is fair considering it is the playoffs. I can't wait 'til football season comes 'round again!

Wake up

Happy Monday! It's finals week and I am ready for the storm to hit this week. I am also ready for the one week break that is to come after my last class this Friday. Can I get a whoooo?! Whoooooo!

Some people say change is always good. False. Change is inevitable, yes, but not always a good thing. The best thing that can happen when the change isn't a good thing.. is to emerge victorious of the vices, negative energy, self-doubt, and self-destructing behavior that has overcome our otherwise very human tendencies.

I like quotes and the things that people do to transform them into mini-billboards of expression. I thought I would do one of my own surrounding the theme of the day: change. Ch-ch-check it out..
