Scales
Check out this new band that's taking San Diego by storm! Currently on their first "San Diego" tour, Scales consists of band members: Brett (vox/bass) Jason (vox/guitar) and John (drums.) Bed(ass) Island!
I went to a party last night, as you can tell by my previous post. We got there a bit early to take advantage of their hosted bar. The MAIN reason why I was going was because Christmas Island was playing. This band is rad. I don't use the word: rad too often.. but that pretty much sums them up. It is a 3-piece band, with Brian on vox/guitar, Craig on bass/synth and the oh-so-lovely Lucy on the drums. Want to know some added radness? Lucy and Brian are in love.. and have been for some time even before Christmas Island ever existed. Check out this song: "Bed Island". You will dig it. Such a dang sweet love song! Ahhhhh!

Das Weisse Band
Eerily and hauntingly executed, this film will leave you wanting more. The cinematography blew me away.. wanting me to take home every
shot and frame them as pictures in my house. Michael Haneke is a
disturbed genius, and I like it.
